The fourth week in June is National Mosquito Control Awareness week, June 26- July 7, making this summer the best time to start taking back control of your relaxing get aways. Mosquitoes are most active at dusk and dawn, making those time to watch out for while being outside.Sue Ferguson, an environmental health manager with the DHEC's Bureau of Environmental Health states, "Everyone can take part in local mosquito prevention and control efforts by doing basic cleaning activities." Mosquito populations can emerge from small amounts of stagnant water. So making sure gutters, flower pots, pet feeders,and any other items that have possible water accumulation are clean, you will be heading in the right direction to keeping those malicious mosquitoes away for your pleasure! Before beginning a memory, visit Adventure's parts department and stock up on insect repellent for your convenience
